Indian Institute of Technology ( IIT ) is an important and leading institution and is known for its excellence in education. In total it has 17 colleges in located in Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mandi, Mumbai, Patna, Ropar and Roorkee and for getting admission in any of these colleges, it is necessary to pass IIT JEE ( Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination ).Every year it is conducted in the month of April. Every year, more and more students are seating in IIT JEE.
IIT JEE is the most reputed and prestigious exam which is most awaited by the students. It will be held on 10th April 2011. This exam consists of 2 papers and each paper will have objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Duration of time will be 3 hours for each paper.
Students appearing in IIT JEE should not be more than 25 years of age. He / She should have given 12th or Senior Secondary School Examination with science stream and are eligible for IIT JEE 2011. It is expected that around 4.5 lakhs students are going to sit in IIT JEE 2011.
After giving the exam and checking the answer keys, students want to know an idea about the rank they would likely to get. So, following list is the cutoff marks of the previous year and they will get an approximate idea about it.
